The Flights

All I can say here is, Loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong. We flew from Chicago to London, and London to Nairobi. While in Chicago, Gosia, Jeff, and I enjoyed our last deep dish pizza for a couple of months! Its strange being in a plane for that long. Each flight was about 8 hours, but it felt like an eternity. You can't move around very well, the bathrooms are eensy weensy, and the food, is well, airplane food. By the time we arrived in Nairobi on Tuesday night, we were pretty tired. We got our bags (all of our luggage came, but 2 trunks carrying supplies for the school were delayed), met our driver, Daniel, and were brought to a lovely bed and breakfast called the Heron Hotel. Feeling totally disoriented as to the time, we crashed in our rooms and tried to get some sleep!
